World Bread Awards 2015
Following our customers' great efforts to get Orb to the finals of the Cambridge Food & Drink Awards we have been encouraged to be even more ambitious and go for the People's Awards in the World Bread Awards.
The World Bread Awards website states:
"This is your opportunity to vote for your favourite bakery. Perhaps it is your local independent bakery or do you prefer to buy your bread from a high street retailer? Just fill in the details ... and we will do the rest!"
It's really easy to vote - you just put in the name of the bakery and the location. Go to ... http://www.worldbreadawards.com/peoples-choice/
Finding Real Bread on Holiday
Are you going on holiday and worrying that you'll have to put up with supermarket bread for a week or two? Well you don't have to because the wonderful Real Bread Campaign has a Real Bread Finder on its website. Simply put in the postcode of where you're going and the interactive map will tell you where the nearest real bread bakeries are located http://www.sustainweb.org/realbread/bakery_finder/?postcode=enter%A0a%A0postcode&submit=go
In the Press
Last Friday, the Cambridge News ran a supplement about the winners of the Cambridge Food & Drink Awards. Mark was very surprised to see his mug in the paper - see photos.
