Challah - this week's helping hand!!
This week it's again the turn of Challah the Jewish braided celebration bread. This is an entriched bread - with butter and a modest amount of sugar. It is no dissimilar to Brioche and can be eaten in the same way.

Bolus
Thank you to all the customers who bought these Cinnamon Buns from the Netherlands. We had lots of great feedback from you including: "loved the bolus and so did my son who scoffed 3 of them ...."!
We made a pile for the St Ives market - and they all went very quickly.
Whilst we're not pushing them this week they are still available -so why not give them a go?

Our a-MORZINE News from last week
"NNNNOooooooooo !! You can't do that to me !! I finally found good bread !!"
This was just one of the nice messages we got after breaking our news last week of our sojourn to the Alps in the winter.
We are so grateful to all those of you that have expressed your disappointment at our putting Orb on hold for a few months, but also the support you have given us in taking this opportunity to try something really different.

- Tour de France - Those of you that have followed Chris Froome's and Sky's domination of this year's Tour de France will already have noticed that the Tour's penultimate 19th Etape ended in Morzine our new home for the Winter! It an added delight to watching the Tour's dramatic descent into Morzine in pouring rain. Not sure if we spotted our chalet!
- Pain de Savoie - So, of course, we've been researching the bread of the Savoie which is the region we will be living in. Pain de Savoie is a delightfully indulgent bread filled with Gruyère Cheese and smoked bacon lardons. This will be appearing on the list once we've had a chance to give it a go ourselves!
- Coco - And one or two of you who have really been paying attention have asked about Orb's recent addition to the family - our springer spaniel Coco. What, we are asked, is going to happen to her? Well, we're building ourselves up to leaving her, it will be hard - we haven't broken the news to Coco yet! Our son Dan will be staying in Orb HQ while we'll away and is taking on the Coco care! But as he works we are also getting together a list of Coco chums who would like to take her for a walk every now and then - and one or two who would like to have her for a sleep over. So if you're interested in meeting our delightful young lady and taking her out every now and then we'd be delighted to add you our list... let us know and we can discuss this further
