This week it's you..
Thanks to all who ordered the Icelandic rye breads last week - hope you enjoyed them.
This week Orb's special bread is Challah - pronounced 'HhA-lah', A really tasty festive bread from the Jewish tradition - a yeasted bread enriched with butter and sugar. Almost brioche-like, but not as sweet, shiny golden crust covered with poppy seeds.
The breads are braided making a very attractive bread for the centre of the breakfast or other table.
- BTW Challah makes great toast BUT be aware that being enriched it toasts very quickly - so turn that toaster dial down!!
The Challah costs £2.40 for a loaf of around 450g
Pão de Queijo
Mark is keen as mustard to make some more of these moreish Brazilian gluten-free cheesy snack two bite-size breads from Brazil - in fact we've read that they are a staple breakfast food in Brazil.
Made with Tapioca flour, butter, milk strong cheeses and a few chilli flakes. Great cold but wonderful heated up (4mins at 180C) - the challenge is to eat only one!

All ages, sizes and levels of fitness are attending and are welcome. The sessions are a very good value £5 per session or £40 for 10 sessions.
You can just turn up - bring water!! If you want to know more or contact Jim here's his FB page link https://www.facebook.com/OverPowerFitness/
(See poster below - but note the free sessions are finished now)
We've had a our contracts now for our ski chalet hosting venture in Morzine.. and so it's all becoming a lot more real - and as we say goodbye to our Ruby who is off to college at the weekend we are gearing up to our own departure in November. We've been introduced electronically to our new colleagues who will be hosts in teh other chalets - and we have a real international group - with couples from America, New Zealand as well as UK...
And so to keep us and you in the mood ... one more picture of Morzine!!
